Veneers are thin pieces of porcelain that are bonded to the teeth. Veneers can be an excellent choice to improve teeth that are stained, crooked, worn or have gaps.
Tooth whitening (bleaching) is a simple, non-invasive procedure that is utilized to change the color of natural tooth enamel and a way to enhance your smile.
Inlays and onlays are often referred to as partial crowns. They use the existing tooth as a base and fit the inlay or onlay onto the tooth.
Bonding can be used to correct cracks or gaps in teeth, as a filling after a cavity has been removed, or to cover up stains or discolored teeth.
ZOOM! is a chairside whitening procedure that uses a safe whitening gel and a low intensity light to activate the gel. This combination allows us to provide you with teeth that are 6-10 shades whiter in about an hour!
Restorative
A dental bridge is a false tooth or teeth, known as a pontic, which is fused between two porcelain crowns to fill in the area left by a missing tooth or teeth. The two crowns holding it in place that are attached onto your teeth on each side of the false tooth.
A crown (or cap) is a covering that encases the entire tooth surface restoring it to its original shape and size. A crown protects and strengthens tooth structure that cannot be restored with fillings or other types of restorations.
Dentures are a replacement for missing teeth that can be removed and put back into your mouth as you please. Depending on each individual patient case, they may receive full or partial dentures. Full dentures are used when all of the natural teeth are removed from the mouth and replaced with a full set of dentures. There are two types of full dentures.
Bonding is a popular method to enhance the aesthetics of your smile. Bonding can be used to correct cracks or gaps in teeth, as a filling after a cavity has been removed, or to cover up stains or discolored teeth.

Sealants are a great way to protect against tooth decay and cavities on your back teeth (molars). These are the teeth that are most vulnerable to cavities and decay because they are used in the chewing process, and are the most difficult to reach and clean. Molars first come in at around 5-7 years of age, with a second set coming in between the ages of 11-14. It is best to have a sealant placed when the molars first come in to ensure they are protected early.
Wearing a mouth guard helps prevent against structural damage to your teeth and jaw and also helps prevent injuries such as lacerations to your cheeks, tongue, and lips. Mouth guards have also been shown to help decrease the risk of concussions.
Mouth guards are an essential piece of equipment in contact sports. They should be worn by athletes of all ages who participate in sports such as:
- Football
- Hockey
- Lacrosse
- Wrestling
- Basketball
- Baseball/Softball
- …any sport where contact is a possibility

When the pulp (nerve) of a tooth becomes infected or dies, a root canal therapy is needed to save the tooth. The tooth pulp is a soft tissue made up of nerves and blood vessels located in the pulp chamber, which extends from the middle of the tooth down through the roots.
Infection occurs and allows bacteria to travel through the enamel and dentin layers and into the pulp. The pulp can die or become infected due to a fracture or a blow to the tooth as well.
The process of root canal therapy involves going inside the pulp of the tooth and removing the infected, dead tissue. The space is cleaned and disinfected and sealed with a special dental material. After the root canal is completed a crown is often needed to prevent the tooth from fracturing. Due to the advancement in the dental field today root canal treatments are much more comfortable and can be completed faster.
