We are more affordable than an emergency room and will provide excellent care for your minor emergencies with less wait time.

Sunrise Urgent Care center is equipped to diagnose and treat common illnesses and injuries. Our physicians are trained to treat both children and adults. If your illness or injury requires a higher level of care, our staff is able to stabilize you and help to refer you to the appropriate hospital. 281-347-2228

Discounted Cash Payment Option:

Level 1: $150: standard visit that might include simple screening labs

Level 2: $250: Standard level visit that might include x-ray and medication administration

Level 3: $350: Level 2 visit that may include sutures, splinting, burn care, incision and drainage

Family Medicine

Dr Okezie Aguoru is a very dedicated and compassionate physician with over 20 years of experience.  Dr Aguoru completed his medical Degree from the University of Port Harcout in Nigeria and then completed his residency in Family Medicine in Jamaica hospital New York in affiliation with Mount Sinai School of Medicine. Dr Aguoru has a thriving  Family practice clinic in Houston Texas which he has run successfully for several years.  He has now decided to delve into urgent care medicine as well. Dr Aguoru has a passion for teaching and mentoring. He is also happily married with 3 children and loves to travel in his spare time.

Dr Cynthia Obi

Emergency Medicine

Dr Cynthia Obi is a board certified emergency medicine physician who received her medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (New Jersey Medical School) and residency training in emergency medicine at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia Pennsylvania. Dr Obi has been practicing emergency medicine for the past 8 years  in the Houston/Katy area and decided to open Sunrise Urgent Care Center 2 years ago with her husband in order to provide medical care to her neighborhood. Dr Obi comes from a family of medical professionals with her father and her grandfather who were both physicians and who served as her inspiration to join the medical field. Dr Obi’s passion lies in mentoring the youth and inspiring them to pursue higher education for the betterment of themselves and their local communities. When not busy working, Dr Obi loves to travel, cook, paint, garden and spend time with her loving husband and 2 children.
