Skater owned and operated by 10 year derby skater Nawty Dread Knocks. Being a skater gives a deeper level of understanding of what other skaters may need and want in their gear. Nawty personally tests new products to ensure quality and durability of products sold in shop. Experience, honesty, and product knowledge are all attributes Nawty brings to every gear discussion to ensure each skater gets exactly what they want in their gear purchases.

Our Vision

B.Troubles ultimate goal is to have a wide variety of QUALITY roller derby & skating equipment accessible for fittings and purchase in shop. Being able to say"try this, this or this one... if that doesn't work, we can try this, this or that". We never want to say "we only have..." or worst "we DON'T have...". If we don't currently have it, we will do all we can to get it as soon as possible. We want B.Trouble Skate Shop to be the deep end of the derby equipment pool by bringing in the newest, most sought after, quality, derby friendly products. Nawty is an 11-year roller derby veteran who knows her stuff and provides the highest level of customer service. She's a great resource for suggestions on skates and gear and carries pretty much anything I need whenever I need it. She's also very helpful when working with a budget. I went in knowing exactly what I wanted and I didn't get it. I got something better and left very happy with what I got. She's very knolagable in everything she has and is more worried about your happiness and safety they with making money and I never want to go anywhere else!

I was surprised about the large variety of inventory in this shop. I was able to try on multiple brands of every item I needed. The owner was absolutely patient and you can tell she has a lot of experience with the items she is selling. She was never pushy and her expertise on trying different brands to get the proper fit made it absolutely worth the trip. I was surprised how committed she was to making sure I got the perfect fit, and sometime (often) that even meant that she recommended a less expensive brand based on my preferences and body type. It's not often that you find a business that is so dedicated to the comfort and satisfaction of the customer, rather than saving time and/or money. Their bottom line was making me feel like I was their number one priority that afternoon. Mission accomplished. I'll return for all my skate/gear needs. They really know their stuff!!! One of the best retail experiences I've ever had for sports gear.
